YRQG Meeting Tomorrow - Wednesday October 14

Have you ever wondered what makes a modern quilt, well, modern? The program for tomorrow's meeting will  be all about modern quilts.
The co-chair of the Toronto Modern Quilt Guild, Andrea Vander Kooij, will present an overview of the modern quilt movement that emphasizes differences in approach to design that are favoured by the modern quilt community. Andrea has a slide presentation and is bringing samples of modern quilts.
Have you made a modern quilt? What do you find interesting about modern quilts?
And don't forget, our library has books about modern quilting, so visit the library and check out some books so you can get started on your own modern quilt!
Our meeting is at the Danforth Mennonite Church at 2174 Danforth Avenue. We start at 7 with socializing and the program starts at 7:30.
Don't forget to bring along your mug for tea or coffee and $0.25, and some money for the library raffle!
