Sew and Share June 2016

Our AGM wrapped up with a great display of the talents of our members with this month's Sew and Share.

Rachel showed her baby quilt called Charlie's Critters:

Isabella shared a quilt she made as a graduation gift for her niece, Purple Passion, a rail fence pattern:

Isabella also showed a tactile quilt that she made from a kit she got at a York Heritage quilt show:

Jacqueline shared a throw quilt, Tilt-a-Whirl, a pattern she got from one of our library books, Think Big, by Amy Ellis:

Char showed her twin quilt, It's a Mystery:

Suzanne shared a crazy quilt. This is made from silk stockings assembled by Wilda Miriam Middleton. Suzanne received the squares from Don Middleton, Wilda's son:

Suzanne also shared a Sugar Sack quilt made from squares Don Middleton assembled when he was a child:

Anne shared an original design that was hand appliqued and embellished:

Barbara shared a baby quilt made from a design by Karen Howes. It is a gift for a her soon to be grandson:

Anne showed us this black and white brick wall quilt that she made at Lucy Anne Holliday's retreat:

Dale shared a Jelly Roll Wedding Quilt that she made for her son and daughter-in-law. She also made this at Lucy Anne Holliday's quilters retreat:
