Time for Spring Cleaning!

It's a beautiful sunny day and I'm anxious to get into my garden, though I know there's nothing to be done for a while. So maybe the best thing to do is make the indoors a little more beautiful. And that means it's time for spring cleaning! Did your rush to get Christmas gifts done turn your sewing space into a bit of a disaster?

While we dream about the garden (and to ensure we finish our square-foot garden blocks for the Presidents' Challenge!), head over to the Diary of a Quilter, where Amy Smart is sharing her tips on organizing your sewing space: https://www.diaryofaquilter.com/2018/02/organize-your-sewing-room.html

Let us know in the comments below if you think any are particularly helpful - or even if they aren't helpful! What tips do you have for all of us that Amy didn't cover?

  1. I love seeing Amy's workspace, it's so colourful. I like the idea of organizing fabrics by colour instead of by collection.

  2. I know - organizing by colour is a great idea - maybe after dinner one night I can just sit with my big bucket of scraps and sort them out.
