Welcome back to another great year of quilting!

Our first first meeting, Wednesday September 12, features a presentation from Lorna McMahon of Sew Fresh Quilts.

Lorna is a quilt maker and passionate pattern designer. Now living in Mitchell Ontario, Lorna is the mother of two teens. Her artistic abilities and mechanical background have proven useful since being introduced to the realm of fabric and thread. Having designed her first quilt for her daughter in late 2012, she began to explore a variety of quilting techniques until finally finding her niche. Designing blocks and quilts that use traditional piecing methods is her passion.

You may remember Lorna from out "Meet a Canadian Quilt Blogger" series. You can read about her quilting inspiration and find links to her blog.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Wednesday!

Location: Danforth Mennonite Church, 2174 Danforth Avenue
When: Doors open for socializing at 7:00 pm
Guild meeting starts at 7:30 pm
