Yorkshire Rose Quliters Guild of Toronto

We had another fabulous Sew and Share during our October Yorkshire Rose Guild meeting. Special thanks to Isabella for the time and effort put into creating the presentation, and thank you to our Guild members for inspiring us all with their finished projects.

"This was my first every jelly roll rug and I will definitely be making more.
I followed the tips I  found while researching it on line, so it was actually not too
hard and finished very flat".

"The small tote was from a kit I'd purchased from County Clothesline
at our last quilt show.  I use it at the cottage to take sunscreen etc down to our dock".

Be sure to join us for our next virtual Guild meeting on Wednesday October 14th, starting with our social at 7PM.  At 7:30 we welcome our guest speaker Rose Parr of  Sew Smart – The Ergonomics of Healthy Quilting.  Rose Parr joins us to help us all discover ergonomic strategies to stay healthy, happy, and pain-free while cutting, pressing, and sewing!

If you are a member of our Guild, watch for your Zoom meeting invitation via email. If you would like to join our Guild or attend as a guest, please send us a note through our blog portal.

We look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday!!!

Even with all of the challenges 2020 has presented us with, there is still so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. One of the greatest gifts this unusual year has given us, is a perspective on what is really important to us, the simplest of things, not the least of which is time with our family and friends.

We hope your home is filled with the warmth and gratitude of this, the season of THANKSGIVING.
